Beware of Kaduna Polytechnic, It’s No Longer Conducive For Learning – NANS

National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) declared Kaduna Polytechnic (KADPOLY) unconducive for learning due to the dilapidated nature of structures in the institution.

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has declared that, Kaduna Polytechnic is no longer conducive for learning.

The umbrella union of the Nigerian students, which gave the dilapidated infrastructures at the polytechnic as reason however called on the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency intervene in the rehabilitation of the ailing Kaduna Polytechnic.

Addressing journalists on Tuesday, both the National Assistant Secretary General of NANS, comrade Abdulmajeed Oyeniyi and the Senate President of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), Adekanbi Sunday, also called on all prominent alumni of the Polytechnic to come to their rescue as the institutions are no longer conducive for learning anymore.

Part of the statement reads: Therefore on this day 24th April 2018, on our campus (Kaduna Polytechnic) Kaduna State, after vigorous inspection and interview of the residential students in the Institution, we want to use this medium to call on Federal Government on dilapidated infrastructures, most especially Hostels on our Campus Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna we hereby call on the Chairmen House Committee on Education in both Senate and Representatives legislative arm.

“After a tentative deliberation which the Senate President of NAPS in persthe on of comrade Adekanbi Sunday, the leadership have resolved that Federal Government need to show concern in the dilapidated facilities on our campus in Kaduna polytechnic, Kaduna state.

“Meeting the management, we observed high sense commitment to academic excellence, security m, reviving the dilapidated infrastructure establishment of Center of Technology Development, and to create a job through entrepreneurship.

Kaduna Polytechnic, KADPOLY registration procedure for the 2018/2019 academic session newly admitted ND and HND candidates.

Following the release of Kaduna Polytechnic Admission List for the 2018/2019 academic session, the management of the institution released the registration procedure for both newly admitted ND and HND candidates.

Kaduna Polytechnic Registration Procedure.

KADPOLY ND and HND Regular Registration for 2018/2019 academic session commences on January 7th 2019 and ends on January 20th 2019.

Candidates are expected to pay FULL school fees and complete their registration before the date specified above.

Candidates will be charged a penalty fee of N5,000 during late registration.

A period of two (2) weeks is given for late registration which commences immediately after the expiration of the registration period.

No candidate shall be registered thereafter. Fee schedule can be downloaded from the website.

At the time of registration, you MUST produce the following documents, failure of which your place will be offered to another candidate:

  • this letter of offer of admission and the original of all certificate(s) of examination(s) passed five years ago and beyond or originals of official statement(s) of result for examination(s) passed in the last four years,
  • the original and photocopy of your Birth Certificate or Sworn Declaration of Age,
  • evidence of payment of Acceptance and Registration Fees,
  • a Medical Certificate of fitness from Shehu Mohammed Kangiwa Medical Centre, Kaduna Polytechnic,
  • Furthermore students are to pay N1,000= for medical examination at our Medical Centre and this is to be paid into TSA Account No 3000091596 (NUBAN) in any bank,
  • Students are to pay N1,500= Enterpreneuship Fee in favour of PolyTek account. The payment should be made at Kadpoly Microfinance Bank,
  • six recent passport photographs,
  • a letter of attestation from either of your parents or guardian that you will be of good behavior and a Law-abiding student throughout your stay in the Polytechnic.

Candidates with certificates (HND, ND etc) other than those obtained from Kaduna Polytechnic, are required to request the Institutions they attended, to send their transcripts directly to the Registrar, Kaduna Polytechnic before the closure of registration period.

Kaduna Polytechnic (KADPOLY) cut off mark for the 2020/2021 session admission exercise. If your UTME score is exactly or above Kaduna Poly cut-off mark, you will be considered for admission (via screening). If your UTME score is below the prescribed cut off mark, you may not be offered admission.

Authorities of Kaduna Polytechnic (KADPOLY) have released the cut-off mark for the 2020/2021 academic session admission exercise.

Kaduna Polytechnic is one of the earliest polytechnics in Nigeria, located at Tudun Wada area of Kaduna South local government of Kaduna state, North-Western Nigeria.

To be eligible to participate in Kaduna Poly Post UTME screening exercise, you must have attained the follow mark in the last Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME):

(i) 120 and above for ND Programmes

(ii) 100 and above for NCE Programmes

(iii) 180 and above for B.Ed(Tech) programmes in affiliation with Federal University of Technology, Minna

(iv) 180 and above for B.Sc in affiliation with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in either Architecture, Building, Urban/Regional Planning, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Kaduna Poly Mid-Semester Break

This is to inform all the students of the Kaduna State Polytechnic (KADPOLY) that they are to proceed on mid-semester break as outlined below.
