UNIUYO notice to 2020 Post-UTME candidates

Following the recent release of the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate (WASSC) examination results by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), candidates who registered for the University of Uyo 2020/2021 Post UTME Screening exercise while Awaiting Result (AR) are hereby advised to obtain the above-released results and upload same on the University of Uyo website (i.e. www.uniuyo.edu.ng/e-portals) to update their status immediately.

The update would enable such candidates to be considered in the e-screening exercise conducted by the University. For further enquiries, candidates may wish to contact the Admissions Unit on 09135998187 or through the email [email protected]

UNIUYO supplementary admission form for 2020/2021 session

The management of University of Uyo  (UNIUYO) has announced supplementary admission into some selected programmes. This followed the recent approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the programmes. The programmes are as follows;

Physics.B.Sc

Human Nutrition and dietetics

Faculty of Science

Faculty of Medicine

Medical sciences

The above programmes have been hosted on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions and Processing System (CAPS) for the online screening/admission into the programmes in 2020/2021 academic session.

In view of this, candidates interested in studying the above-named courses are to apply online:

Such candidates must have made University of Uyo their 1st choice in the 2020/2021 JAMB UTME and had a minimum aggregate score of 180.

Candidates must have previously registered for the University&-8217;s Post UTME Screening Exercise.

Candidates would have to undertake a voluntary change of course through the JAMB CAPS into their preferred programme of choice

Candidates are to fill out the online form appropriately.

Candidates are also requested to scan and upload original of candidate&-8217;s academic qualification.

Duly completed forms are to be submitted online

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates seeking admission into these programmes must have in their school certificates five credits.

Possess in English Language, Mathematics and three other subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Geography obtained in not more than two sittings

Human Nutrition and Dietics candidates seeking admission must posess in their school certificate Nutrition, or Agricultural Sclence and any other Science subject.

METHODOFAPPLICATION

Interested candidates are to pay a non-refundable sum of One Thousand Naira (N1,000.00) only, via the University portals.

Select Admission Form link

Select post UTME Supplementary as the Admission Form type

Enter your phone number and E-mail address

Click on &-8220;MAKE PAYMENT NOW&-8221; button to make payment

Payment can be made with your atm card/internet banking or at any branch of the Commercial Banks using pre-payment slip through Remita Platform.

After payment, return to the online portal and click on Register Link to obtain your login credentials to complete your registration.

Print out the 2020/2021 Supplementary Admission Slip.

The Management of the University of Uyo  (UNIUYO) has released the 2020/2021 school of basic studies admissions list. Candidates who participated in the admission Screening Test are hereby directed to proceed to check if they have been offered admission
