Recall that the First Semester Examination for the second set of students (i.e. HNDI and NDI) commences on Monday, 14 December 2020 in due compliance with COVID-19 Pandemic and NCDC Directives

In view of the above, all students are expected to have completed their online registration for First Semester, 2019/2020 Academic Session before the commencement of the Examinations.

Ibadan Poly proposed 2019/2020 academic calendar for part-time students

This is to inform the General Public that the centre for continuing education of the Polytechnic Ibadan has released the proposed part-time programme academic calendar for 2019/2020 session.

Ibadan Poly proposed 2019/2020 academic calendar for part-time students

1. Resumption Date for All Students: 2 November 2020

2. Registration for All Students (1 week): 2 November -6 November, 2020

3. Lectures (5 weeks): 2 November-5 December, 2020

4. Revision (1 week): 7 December-12 December, 2020

5. Examination (1 week):14 December-19 December, 2020

6. Semester Break (1 week): 21 December-26 December, 2020

7. BOS Comsidertion of Results: 20 January-22 January, 2021

 

NB:

1. It is mandatory for all students to abide by all COVID-19 protocols.

2. Only Students with evidence of Registration with passport photograph are expected to resume as specified for various Faculties/Classes.

3. Students are expected to comply strictly to their Schedule.

Ibadan Poly to refund internet and Insurance fees paid by students

Sequel to the agreement of the Students’ Leaders (SUG, Press, Departmental, Faculty, Indigenous and other allied arms) with the management on the refunding of Internet and Insurance fee, the procedure for refund has been highlighted by the management for only those that have paid.

According to an internal memorandum dated 26th October, 2020 from the Registry Department of the Institution,

“This is to inform all students (DPP & Full Time) who had paid for WiFi Internet and Insurance fee from the month of January 30th to October 14th 2020 to provide their evidence of payment and attached their account details for refunds.

Kindly work with the various Heads of Departments and give this assignment urgent attention o that refund could to be made without delay.

Poly Ibadan Cancels Payment of Internet and Insurance fee on Students’ Portal; Postpones Exams

Sequel to the peaceful protest organized by student leaders of The Polytechnic, Ibadan on Monday, the management of the Polytechnic held a round table meeting with the management, staff and student leaders on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, where they agreed to solutions on issues confronting the institution.

Here are some of the agreements made:

Poly Ibadan Cancels Payment of Internet and Insurance fee on Students’ Portal; Postpones Exams

The payment of internet and insurance is hereby cancelled while those that have paid will be refunded.

The first semester 2019/2020 examination is hereby postponed till November 2nd 2020.

Also, issues about laboratory coat, removal of anti-cultism payment as a prerequisite for registration, pending results, course registration, SIWES returning students and other issues were vividly considered.

Ibadan Poly Part-time admission for 2020/2021 session

Admission Requirements
Candidates must have sat for UTME and obtained a minimum score of 150 in 2020 UTME
Candidates who did not pick the Poly Ibadan but have a minimum  score is 150 in 2020 UTME
Candidates must have 5 credits requirement in WASCE, GCE, SSCE or NECO and NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings. Candidates may check the  application portal for specific subject requirement

How to Apply
Applications forms are obtainable on-line at http://admission.polyibadan.edu.ng/

Candidates will be required to pay the sum of N12,500 using bank payment card

Upon admission, candidates will be required to visit any JAMB accredited centre to fill the JAMB part-time for N3,500 naira only
