NPA Interview list is out – The list of successful candidates at the Nigeria Police Academy (NPA) 7th Regular Course entrance examination shortlisted for interview before the Selection Board have been released.

The candidates whose names appear in this publication were successful in the selection examination of the Seventh Regular Course of the Degree Programme of the Nigeria Police Academy Wudil, Kano held on Saturday 24th August, 2019. They are invited to appear for interview before the Selection Board in Three batches as categorized below:

NB:

  • Parents/Guardians will not be allowed into the Academy during the exercise.
  • Candidates who fail to report a day after reporting dates for their respective batch will not be allowed to attend the interview.
  • Candidates will first undergo screening exercises which involve credentials screening, medical tests and physical features among others.
  • Candidates must bring along the originals and photocopies (15 Copies each) of the following documents:
    • Academic certificates/statements of result and testimonials for primary and secondary schools (Junior and Senior).
    • Birth Certificate (preferable) or Declaration of Age.
    • Proof of Local Government of origin duly signed by the Chairman of the Local Government.
      Attestation obtained from Police Officers from the same state of the rank of Chief Superintendent and above can be used in place of Certificate of Local Government of Origin. In this case, the officer must indicate his formation/unit, appointment, contact address, phone numbers and e-mail address. The officer must also affix his/her formation/unit stamp and sign
    • Original UTME result slip 2019
    • Police Academy acknowledgement and examination forms downloaded from the Internet.
    • Candidates are to bring along second copy of their postcard signed by the Supervisor or the Assistant Supervisor of the Centre where they sat for the selection examination.
    • 15 passport photographs
  • Candidates who fail to bring along the documents listed above will be disqualified.
  • Any alteration on the documents will attract outright disqualification.
  • Candidates are to also bring the following items:
    • Two blue shorts and Two white T Shirts.
    • A pair of white canvass shoes and 2 pairs of white socks.
    • Toiletries.
    • Plate and cutlery
    • Sufficient money for transport to and from Wudil.
    • Scratch Cards for WAEC and/or NECO or NABTEB results for online verification of results.

POLAC Admission List – The Nigeria Police Academy (NPA) has released the list of candidates offered provisional admission into its 6th Regular Course for the 2019/2020 academic session.

The authorities of the Nigeria Police Academy have released the admission list of candidates admitted into their seventh regular course for the 2019/2020 academic session.

The under-listed candidates have been offered Provisional Admission into the Nigeria Police Academy (NPA) 7th Regular Course for the 2019/2020 academic session.

Instructions to NPA Successfully Admitted Candidates.

This is to inform all candidates who have been offered admission into the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil Kano, to carefully read the following instructions for the Academy to process their admission on JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and also to enable candidates print their admission letter.

Candidates are advised to upload their O’Level result on or before, Tuesday, 31 December, 2019.

  • Candidates are to visit their profile on JAMB’s CAPS platform regularly for any necessary actions and updates as the Admission process is an interactive one that requires input from the candidates equally.
  • Candidates who are yet to upload their O’Level results on JAMB’s CAPS Platform are requested to do that as soon as possible.
  • Candidates who did not choose POLAC as their Institution of 1st Choice are to change POLAC to their Institution of 1st Choice through JAMB.
  • Candidates who were offered admission by POLAC into a Programme/Course other than the one they registered in JAMB are to change their Programme/Course to that offered to them by POLAC through JAMB.
  • Candidates who were offered admission by POLAC into a Programme/Course same as the one they registered in JAMB and got a message on CAPS seeking their permission for a Change of Programme/Course by POLAC are to allow/accept the change
  • Candidates who have received a notification of an Offer of Admission by another institution on CAPS but are yet to accept/reject the offer are to reject the offer to enable them to be available for POLAC’s offer.
  • Candidates who have already accepted Admission from another institution are to visit www.jamb.org.ng from an Accredited CBT Centre to fill the Change of Admission Letter form, download and print an Indemnity Form which will be submitted in Hard Copy to the Academy for onward processing with JAMB.

However, candidates are to note that some of these processes attract some service charges payable to JAMB. Similarly Candidates are warned not to pay money into any private individuals account while attempting to do any of the above

NOTE:

  • The candidates whose names appear in this publication were successful at the selection Board interview for the 7th Regular Course intake of the Degree programme of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil Kano. The successful candidates who are being offered admission should report to the Academy in Wudil, Kano State on Sunday 5th January, 2020 for registration and orientation. Any candidate who fails to report a week after the stated date risks forfeiting the admission offered to him/her.
  • Candidates are required to bring along the following materials on resumption date:
    • Original copy of all certificates/credentials
    • Two pairs of white shorts
    • Two white singlets
    • Two pairs of white canvass shoes
    • Two pairs of white socks
    • Two sets of sports wears/track suits
    • One pair of football boots
    • One dark lounge suit for both male and female cadets (with matching shirt and tie for the male cadets)
    • One pair of black covered shoes (low heel for females)
    • Two white bed sheets
    • Two white pillow cases
    • One mosquito net
    • Two blankets
    • Two plates
    • One set of cutlery
    • One cutlass
    • One pressing iron
    • Two brooms
    • Toiletries
    • Two plastic buckets
    • Eight passport-size photographs
    • 12- Number, 60-page Note books.

POLAC Resumption Date › The resumption date for the commencement of academic activities at the Nigeria Police Academy (NPA) has been announced.

POLAC Resumption Date

This is to inform all the newly admitted and stale students of the Nigeria Police Academy (NPA) that the management of the institution has announced a new date for the resumption of academic activities for the 2019/2020 academic session, due to the ongoing renovation in the hostels.

The resumption date for all the 7th Regular Course admitted Cadets has been postponed from Sunday 19th to Sunday 26th January 2020. Any newly admitted candidate that fail to resume a week after the resumption date risk forfeiting his/her admission.

In addition, 3rd (Law Cadets), 4th, 5th and 6th Regular Course Cadets are also to resume on the same date.

Nigeria Police Academy, NPA cut-off marks for 8th Regular Course admission exercise. If your UTME score is exactly or above Nigeria Police Academy cut-off mark, you will be considered for admission (via screening). If your UTME score is below the prescribed cut off mark, you may not be offered admission.

The authorities of the Nigeria Police Academy (NPA), Wudil, Kano, have announced the cut-off marks for the 8th Regular Course admission exercise.

Police Academy Cut-Off Mark.

In view of the fact that JAMB has not yet announced the cut-off mark for this year’s admission, the Academy has decided that only candidates who scored 180 and above in the UTME and purchased the Academy online Application Form will be eligible to sit for the Selection Examination. This is without prejudice to the cut-off mark to be eventually announced by JAMB.

Candidates need not select the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as a University of choice in the JAMB form.
