FCE (Tech.) Umunze notice on 31st/9th joint matriculation ceremony for 2019/2020 session

This is to inform Year 1 NCE Students (Regular, PDE, Sandwich and Continuing Education Programme) and Year 1 & 2 Degree Students that the College&-8217;s 31st/9th Joint Matriculation Ceremony comes up on Saturday, 28th November 2020 at the College Convocation Arena (Main campus).

Matriculating students are to appear in the College Academic outfit. The Matriculation gowns are to be collected from the College Stores on presentation of a Bursary receipt of Seven Thousand Naira (N7,000.00).

Students should, therefore, obtain Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) from Bursary and pay to any bank and obtain bursary receipt tor presentation to the Stores Unit.

In view of the above, all concerned students are advised to arrange and collect their gowns and issuance of the gowns begins from Thursday, 24th November 2020.

All gowns must be returned to the College Stores before the close of work on Wednesday, 2nd December 2020, else defaulters will be surcharged.

In compliance with COVID-19 protocol, the use of face mask and social distancing must be adhered to during the ceremony.

FCET Umunze notice on resumption of academic activities

This is to inform students of the Federal College of Education Technical Umunze that Normal academic activities of the College will commence on Monday, October 26, 2020. 

Deans should ensure compliance of all staff in their respective Schools with this directive.

The Management calls on Staff to observe ALL COVID-19 Protocols, especially the compulsory use of facemasks within the College premises. 

Staff are also encouraged to use hand sanitizers and maintain social distancing as recommended by the NCDC.

Deans of Schools/Heads of Units should provide water and soap for regular handwashing for their staff.

Following the directive by the Federal Government on the resumption of duties by all categories of civil servants, the College Management has directed ALL STAFF of the institution to resume work on Monday, October 19, 2020. 

The Management calls on Staff to ensure strict compliance to ALL COVID-19 Protocols, especially the compulsory use of facemasks within the College premises. Staff are also encouraged to use hand sanitizers and keep to safe distancing guidelines.

In view of the COVID-19 Pandemic that engulfed the country, the 2019/2020 Registration/Physical clearance of the students could not be concluded before the Federal Government directed the closure of Educational Institutions.

Candidates who sat for the 2017/2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and who scored 100 and above are requested to get in touch with the Admissions Unit of Federal College of Education (Tech) Umunze for admission, whether or not they chose the College as any of their choice institution(s).
