The management of Edo state university has announced the date for the 2nd batch post the Post-UTME screening exercise.  the screening exercise is for Post-UTME/DE and Transfer candidates. The screening exercise will hold as follows;

Edo State University scholarship for 2020/2021 session

The Edo University, a World Class Institution located in Iyamho, Edo State, which upholds quality and excellence in teaching and research, with state-of-the-art facilities is desirous of awarding full scholarship to deserving students who scored a minimum of 260 in UTME and partial scholarship to deserving indigent students of Edo State origin who scored a minimum of 200 in UTME.

A.   Undergraduate Full Scholarship Award:

Edo State University scholarship for 2020/2021 session

The Undergraduate Full Scholarship Award (UFSA) will be for the duration of any choice programme of candidates. This scholarship shall be for the maximum of five (5) candidates who have demonstrated high level of academic excellence.

 B.    Indigent Students Scholarship Award:

The Indigent Students Scholarship Award (ISSA) will be for the duration of any choice programme and it covers only tuition fees. This award is part of Edo University Iyamho Corporate Social Responsibility in providing access to quality education in Nigeria.

 General Requirements:

 Course Level:

Scholarships are available for undergraduate candidates into the various programmes offered by the University as reflected on the University’s website.


a) The candidate must have chosen Edo University Iyamho or any other NUC recognized University as his/her first choice of University for UTME with a minimum score of 260 for Undergraduate Full Scholarship Award (UFSA) And 200 For Undergraduate Indigent Students Scholarship Award (ISSA).

b) The candidate must have met the entry requirements for admission into his/her course of study.

c) The candidate must demonstrate a high level of written and spoken English (please note that a CBT is an important mode of assessment for determining the best applicants).

d)  Candidates of Edo State origin must show evidence of indigency to qualify for the Undergraduate Indigent Students Scholarship Award (ISSA).

Edo University Second Supplementary post UTME form is out. The management of the Edo University, Iyamho (EUI) is now selling its 2018/2019 academic session supplementary 2nd post UTME and Direct Entry screening form.

UTME Candidates:

Applicants who sat for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are to complete the Edo University Iyamho on-line application form @

All applicants are required to have met Departmental minimum entry requirement of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at GCE O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents at not more than two sittings. For Medicine and Surgery (MB; BS), the five credits (including Mathematics and English) must be obtained at one sitting only (Admission to the medicine and Surgery programme is closed)

Interested candidates who wrote the 2018 UTME and wish to change their choice of University/Course of Study to Edo University Iyamho are required to:

Direct Entry Candidates:

All Direct Entry candidates are required to buy and process the JAMB Direct Entry Form. Requirements are:

  • `A` level passes or its equivalent in relevant subjects.
  • ND/HND with at least Lower Credit in relevant fields
  • NCE with a minimum of Merit in related discipline.
  • Very good passes in JUPEB/IJMB in relevant Subjects.
  • B.Sc. in related discipline with minimum of a Second Class Lower

Transfer Candidates:

Candidates with C.G.P.A not less than 1.5 can transfer from other Universities to Edo University Iyamho, provided they:

(a). Purchase and complete the prescribed Edo University Inter-University Transfer application Form as well as pass interview/Screening exercise conducted by Edo University Iyamho.

(b). Ensure that transcript of their academic records are received in the Admissions office of Edo University Iyamho.

Edo University Supplementary Admission.

Candidates are expected to pay the sum of two thousand naira (N2,000) as application and screening fee.

SCREENING OF CANDIDATES: Applicants are to appear for Edo University Iyamho supplementary Screening Exercise on Thursday, 29th November, 2018 by 9am with the following documents (i).
