Management of College of Education, Warri suspends Covid-19 fee

The management of College of Education Warri has suspended the payment of the COVID-19 fee that was imposed on students earlier. This was contained in a notice made available by the school&-8217;s management and signed by the Public Relations officer of the school.

The notice reads, &-8220;This is to inform all students of College of Education, Warri that the N3,000 COVID-19 protocol levy earlier imposed by the management has been suspended.

College of Education, Warri (COEWARRI) is now selling forms for admission into its NCE (Post UTME & Weekend)  and Pre-NCE programmes for the 2019/2020 academic session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Regular, Pre-NCE and Week-End NCE Programmes, College of Education, Warri for the 2019/2020 Session.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: A Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) O’Level and a Grade II Teacher’s Certificate  (TC II) with at least credit passes in 4 (Four) subjects at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics.  Two of the credits must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to study.

PRE-NCE PROGRAMME: Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC/NECO)/NABTEB) O’Level with at least Five (5) passes at two sittings or Four (4) passes at one sitting. NOTE: Candidates with qualifications less than the above can see the Admission Officer for advice.

COE Warri-UNIBEN degree admission for 2020/2021 session

The College of Education, Warri in Affiliation with the University of Benin, Benin City  is currently admitting students for 2020/2021 Academic Session for UTME and Direct Entry (DE) into Bachelor of Education Degree programmes in:
1.   Computer Science and
2.   English and Literature.

Applications are invited from candidates who scored 200 and above in the 2020/2021 UTME.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Prospective candidates are to pay the non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) at the designated Zenith bank Account and present teller to obtain the Application pin from the College Bursary. Candidates should then visit the College website (www.coewarri.edu.ng) and click on “Student Online Academic Portal” (SOAP), then UNIBEN 2020/2021 Online Application and follow the instructions. Completed online form should be printed and submitted to the Director, Uniben Program Office.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE
First Screening will hold at 10.00am on Wednesday, 9th  December 2020. Candidates are to come to the screening centre with the following:
(i)      JAMB Result Slip (2020/2021).       
(ii)      O’ Level Result(s)
(iii)     Copy of application online receipt        
(iv)     Birth Certificate
Note: Candidates must possess the 5 relevant subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics at credit level. Names on O’ level result and Jamb must be the same.

Closing Date For Application for First Screening is 7th  December 2020.

Those who did not choose the College and wish to apply should change their institutions of first choice to the DELSU Warri Affiliate Centre in the JAMB Portal.
Note that the above courses have been accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the admitted candidates on graduation will participate in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Programme.
