BASUG Post UTME & DE Screening Form 2020/2021 Session is Out

Bauchi State University Gadau, BASUG  Post UTME Form Screening Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session is out. Form cost N2,000. Cut-off mark is 160. Candidates who did not choose the University can apply. See more details below.


This is to inform the general public that the Bauchi State University Gadau (BASUG) Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Form for 2020/2021 academic session is now on sale on online.

All eligible candidates are hereby invited to apply for Bauchi State University Gadau online screening exercise for 2020/2021 session.

Candidates Eligible to Apply for BASUG Post UTME Form

To be eligible for the admission, a candidate must have:

  1. Scored a minimum of 160 points in the 2020 UTME examination;
  2. Obtained a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at O’ level (including English and Mathematics);
  3. Sat for the relevant UTME subject combination in the 2020 JAMB examination;
  4. Candidates awaiting O’level result are eligible to apply but must indicate clearly AWAITNG RESULT (AR) in the grades column on the screening form. Candidates are to make available such results once they are released by the Examination bodies.
  5. Direct Entry (DE) candidates shall in addition to the minimum of five (5) O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics) must have scored a minimum of 7 points in IJMB or NCE and at least lower credit in ND.

How to Apply for BASUG Post UTME.

Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira Only (N2,000.00) for the screening exercise through the payment options provided on the University’s website.

To apply, follow the procedure below:

  • Visit BASUG Online Screening Portal by CLICK HERE.
  • Click on New Application. if you have already created an account, LOGIN HERE
  • Enter your First name, last name, other name (not compulsory) and JAMB Registration Number.
  • Click on Create my account.
  • You will be redirected to a login page. Use your JAMB registration Number as your username and password.
  • Click the “login”
  • Once logged in, you’re required, you will see “Select Application Type”, click on it and select “Degree”.
  • Enter your phone number and email address.
  • Click on “I have verified the above information to be correct and accurate”. 
  • Click on “I Accept”.
  • Proceed to make payment using your ATM Card Details.
  • After payment you will be redirected to complete your registration.

CLOSING DATE: Not Specified. Apply as soon as you can.

BASUG Post utme screening:

You are required to present the originals of your relevant credentials:

  • O’ level results, JAMB result/acknowledgment slip, A’ level results, diploma or IJMB – as applicable to you. Photocopies of all results presented will be submitted at the center.
  • The photocopy of O’level certificate/statement of result(s) will be accompanied by appropriate utility card (scratch card for accessing result) of the examination body.
  • You are to submit photocopy of indigene letter, certificate of birth/declaration of age and a copy of the printed post UTME application form.

You will be contacted via SMS on your phone for the date, time and venue for your screening.
